Driving in Ireland

This was our last hurrah!! Our last big European trip before we PCS back to DC...and here Joey is concentrating on driving on left hand side of the road while sitting on the right side of the car. Needless to say my perspective was bit different as well!! But we did just fine.
And here are the troops after an exciting day of travel! We drove an hour to the airport... then a pretty short 2 hr flight to Dublin, Ireland... then we drove about 4 hours to Killarney where we would stay in a B& B for a fews days before we head back to Dublin to tour there. (M stayed in Dublin for her Model United Nations conference)
We went out to find some dinner and found so many O's it was funny... O'Sullivan, O'Leary, O'Shea, O'Meyer, O'Conner, and on and on!! We ate at Burger King... food in Ireland is very expensive. And because we flew Ryan Air I wasn't able to pack a whole bunch of extra snacks and such! So we made do... there was a small grocery store not far so ham and cheese sandwiches and apples sustained us midday every day!

When we did our road trip through France and Spain, we ate lots of bread and cheese.... it was cheap and filling.
