In the Museum of Natural History
We set off to go to the Smithsonian Imax Theatre to see the "Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian" which was really fun to see at the museum!! And what a great introduction to DC!! The kids can't wait to see all the museums and monuments now! And we have all year! As a side note, you can see Clara's arm in a sling... she fell down the staircase the day before, forcing us to find the ER our first week in the area, (she was not running, she was holding onto the rail, and she was not wearing socks...she just lost her balance and fell) and broke her collarbone. She is doing really well. But we are all bummed with her as she cannot swim or do much of anything for a few weeks.
But as far as our first field trip... we were successful!

all Ukrainian kids during English lessons learn some topics about the Washington Monument
but to learn and to see of course different
Oh, I like DC
And as for Clara's colarbone
oh poor girl
but I see that she enjoys summer
so it was really awesome to see her smile
