Father's Day

Here is Joey on our Father's Day celebration... we had strawberries and whipcream on those little round cakes. I loved them as a child and the younger kids have never had them. We gave a "Gute Fahrt" shirt which C didn't understand why it might be funny because she was only thinking of those German words in German... which means "good ride"... which really isn't funny. When I explained why it might be funny in English she giggled. He also got a yellow tie, or rather a "power tie", to add to his diplomatic wardrobe. His last gift was a new bike. The Washington and Old Dominion trail is not far from our house and he is happy to keep riding. But the view is nothing like where we lived and he rode in Germany!!!
