We began with a quick walk down 34 th street
(these are our pack-mules... they carry all our food and water)
to see the Empire State Building
and Macy's as we love the Christmas movie "Miracle on 34th Street".
We then jumped on the metro headed to Central Park
where I think we could have spent all day!!
It was really beautiful weather and so much to take in.
Below is Bow Bridge.
We saw the Castle, walked the Bramble, paddle a boat on the Lake
and then headed off to our show Wicked. What an amazing show!
Afterward the cast was happy to sign our programs.
They were so gracious and took time to talk and joke with us.

Off to McDonald's on Times Square and then to bed for an early morning.

Again??? How many times can one teen girl see Wicked?
apparently three.. it was Joey's third as well (one was in German)...Clara's first in English...my second...and all the boys first... we all love it. You can see it over and over and not get tired of it.
Which cast did you like better? The London or NYC one? What an amazing journey you have had since being back in the states. TOO COOL!
Did you see Grandma Henny Wiese's mother, Jenny Hempenius Name on the wall ?
Looks like a fun time.
I'd say the NYC cast was a little better balenced and stronger. Mom, no we didn't find her name and tried to call you from there but I guess your cell wasn't on.
