And along with everything else she does.... she runs too??!!You just can't keep a good girl down! Go K'TownHS!
M ran her first Cross Country Meet in Wiesbaden! The girls team did well finishing third. The boy team finished second! This is M's first year and honestly we were just proud she finished(and not last was a bonus!) She actually finished individually about middle of the pack... we don't have those numbers yet as we had made plans to go see the castle in St Goar and didn't stay for the awards ceremony.
Anyway, this is her mini fan club! (minus grammy taking the picture!)
Here we are on the ferry on the Rhine River on our way to the Burg Rheinfels which is in the background. I'm taking the pic and M and Belle are sleeping in the car!
A nice view of the castle from the "clock tower". M actually read the English guide aloud and was our tour guide after her nap! We made our way all over this castle which was once the biggest on the Rhine built in 1245. It was/is really huge! Several times we had to walk slowly and carefully through dark corridors... which all the kids found to be very fun!
This is taken looking down the Rhine, from the clock tower! If you go back and zoom in on the pic of the castle while we are on the ferry the clock tower is the square tower and looks to be in the center of the castle with the flag pole on top of it.
